YASC in collaboration with SAP and Deloitte held a kickoff meeting for the SAP project on May 21. The project aims to empower enterprise management through information system building and create a positive cycle of data-driven business. The project launch and implementation mark another key step on the path of YASC’s digital transformation.

Senior management teams of YASC, SAP and Deloitte were present at the launching ceremony and delivered speeches. Chen Zhongguo, President of YASC, first pointed out in his remarks that the SAP project is a cornerstone of information system interconnection, and also an important foundation for the company’s digital transformation.

He says, the SAP project implementation will be a long digital journey that involves several business departments including finance, supply chain, production and human resources. He hopes all the members attach great importance to the project, actively learn and rise to new challenges; at the same time, constantly improve the business, drive in-depth integration of the SAP project and business, so as to make going digital an important driving force for the company’s operation and management upgrading.

Shi Yu, Vice President of SAP China, mentioned in his remarks that the SAP project, a part of all process management and corporate governance, is crucial to high-quality development of the enterprise. He believes, YASC will surely be able to move forward faster and more steadily with the support of digital tools.

Alan Huang, Consulting Businesses Partner, Deloitte China, the implementation team of the project, noted the SAP project is actually a future project for an enterprise. In the implementation of this project, Deloitte will reasonably control resources and the progress, fully dedicate itself, ensure the project is implemented and put in place in high quality, and help YASC draw a long-term development blueprint.

The YASC SAP project, mainly built on the idea of business-finance synergy, integration and coordination, will empower enterprise management by building information systems including SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning, enterprise management system) and SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud, budget system). The effective implementation of the project will help YASC build an efficient, easy-to-use ERP system that improves business execution efficiency; enhance the enterprise’s fine and digital management capabilities through effective data integration and consolidation, thus realizing sustainable development of the enterprise.
