Traction Inverter

Traction Inverter

The traction inverter is the most important component in the EV transmission system. It converts DC power of the battery pack into AC power that drives the motor, controls and regulates the speed and torque of the motor, charges the battery through brake rectification, and achieves bi-directional energy flows. The response speed and stability of the traction inverter and the motor it controls in EVs directly affect the driving experience and customer satisfaction. The use of SiC modules in the traction inverter can achieve faster response speed, reduce switching loss, increase power density and overall efficiency, and thereby improves vehicle cost-effectiveness and stability.
