Anhui YOFC Advanced Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (“YASC”) and Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. (“Chery Automobile”) successfully held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement on Automotive Chip Joint Laboratory on October 20. In the future, the companies will leverage technology and resource advantages in their respective fields, extensively collaborate in automotive-grade chips, the application in vehicles, and market development, and fuel the development of the Chinese automotive-grade chip industry. Chen Zhongguo, President of YASC, and Guo Yuhui, Chip Planning Director of Chery Automobile Research and Development Institute, completed the signing on behalf of the parties.

As a key power device in the NEV transition from 400V to 800V, the silicon carbide (SiC) chip is becoming an important configuration in automotive electronics for its superior features and performance.
