↑The 74th Breakfast Chat is held
Wuhu held the 74th “Breakfast Chat” on the morning of December 9, and seven entrepreneurs were invited to attend the event. Tang Liangzhi, Chairman of the Anhui Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), who was conducting research in Wuhu, participated in the activity. He pointed out, “The Breakfast Chat listens to the voice of entrepreneurs face-to-face in a novel form and a relaxing setting, help solve difficulties for enterprises and address their concerns, and is conducive to continuously improving the business environment and further increasing confidence in the market.”

↑ Yang Jun, Chairman of Anhui Conch Group Co., Ltd.
Conch Group retained its place on the Fortune Global 500 list with an operating income of US$ 39.7 billion in 2022, ranking 353rd. Chairman Yang Jun introduced the company’s focus on digital, intelligent transformation and green, low-carbon development, saying that Conch will “help Wuhu build a people’s city with a beautiful eco-environment and substance”.

It plans to invest in the construction of a line maintenance base in Wuhu and build a comprehensive maintenance support center, first-class in China and leading in the world. Chairman Li Biao believes, Wuhu is a charming city with the most attractive business environment in the central and eastern China. Truchum is a national technological innovation demonstration enterprise, and ranks 309th in China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises. Jiang Chun, a member of the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and Chairman of Truchum, says that the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee and Municipal Government have done much pragmatic and effective work to improve the business environment and support the healthy development of enterprises; the Wuhu Municipal Committee of the CPPCC has fully played its consultative and supervisory role, and vigorously promoted continuous improvement on the business environment.

YASC is a national high-tech enterprise headquartered in Wuhu, with the second largest production capacity in China. Chairman Zhuang Dan says with confidence that YASC will reinforce its presence in the fertile ground of Wuhu and strive to grow into a leading wide bandgap semiconductor company in the world.
↑ Nie Zurong, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Dowstone Technology Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Wuhu Jiana Energy Technology Co., Ltd.
Dowstone Technology is one of China’s leading manufacturers of cobalt salts and cathode material precursors for lithium batteries, and an A-share listed company. It has invested CNY 10 billion in Jiangbei New Area, Wuhu City to build a ternary precursor project with 100,000-ton annual production capacity, which already started in May. Nie Zurong, Vice Chairman of Guangdong Dowstone Technology Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Wuhu Jiana Energy Technology Co., Ltd., says, the good business environment in Wuhu has facilitated the smooth construction of the project, and increased confidence in gaining a foothold in Wuhu.
↑ Lu Lixin, Chairman of Anhui Symbiosis Logistics Technology Co., Ltd.
Symbiosis Technology, founded in 2015, is a “Little Giants” Enterprise that use special, sophisticated technologies to produce novel or unique products. The company posted CNY 1.14 billion revenue last year, and is expected to generate revenue of over CNY 1.3 billion in 2022. Lu Lixin, a member of the Provincial Committee of the CPPCC, and Chairman of Symbiosis Technology, believes, the strong provincial support for Wuhu in building a logistics hub in the western Yangtze River Delta provides more and better opportunities for the development of digital logistics enterprises like Symbiosis.

Hongjing Electronics is dedicated to the research, development and manufacturing of intelligent cockpits, new energy vehicle (NEV) battery management systems and automotive electronic products, and its key customers are Fortune Global 500 companies. President Guo Xu made the last speech, saying that Wuhu has taken excellent targeted epidemic response and created a favorable environment for the healthy and safe development of enterprises.
Seven entrepreneurs also focused on energy consumption, land, capital, infrastructure support, talent and labor, and put forward specific demands. Tang Liangzhi listened carefully to everyone’s remarks, and intervened for interaction from time to time. He hopes that Wuhu further raises the bar, shores up weak links while reinforcing strengths, take more effective and concrete measures to improve the environment and stabilize the economy, continuously optimize the services for enterprises, foster a world-class business environment that is market-oriented, law-based and internationalized, lighten the burden on enterprises and help them accelerate development. Municipal and county/(district) committees of the CPPCC should get close to the center of the larger picture, fully unlock the advantages of abundant talent, intensive intelligence, extensive contact, conduct in-depth research, actively contribute views and do continuous monitoring around the business environment improvement, ask, talk and supervise in real terms, and help the party committee and government to put the pro-business policies in place.
