A team led by Song Guoquan, Deputy Secretary of Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial People’s Congress, visited YASC to conduct an inspection and research on June 24, 2022, accompanied by leaders including Shan Xiangqian, Secretary of the CPC Wuhu Municipal Committee, Ding Zurong, Chairman of the Standing Committee of Wuhu Municipal People’s Congress, and Yao Kai, Vice Mayor of Wuhu.

Vice Chairman Song Guoquan carefully learned about key silicon carbide chip processes in the inspection and research, and showed interest in the company’s production capacity and investments. He pointed out that now YASC is in the new period of development and change. The company should stabilize its high-level talent team that masters core technologies in key fields, focus on research and development of key technologies and products, achieve mass production at an early date, and endeavor to drive Anhui into the first quadrant in the Chinese new-generation information technology industry. He stressed that the government will continuously improve the business environment around the upstream and downstream “industrial chains” of strategic emerging industries, pay close attention to development directions, sources of funding and talent teams in the industries, and make further efforts to support and serve enterprises. Enterprises should also unremittingly enhance core competitiveness, and make more contributions to the economic development of the city and the province.

The third-generation semiconductor sector, a new strategic high ground in the global semiconductor industry, now sees explosive growth.
